Ryan, Welcome to the Family!

So, over the past few years as Tawni and Ryan have been dating and engaged, Ryan has received a lot of crap from us. After months and months and months of dating, Tawni and Ryan still were not engaged, even though we all knew it was going to happen, and so did they. He would come to visit, would be fed better than the rest of us kids, and I'm all but positive Mom and Dad tried to work out some secret combination with him one Christmas where I would have to stay in Provo and he would take my place back home. Ok, maybe that was an exaggeration, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. I do know that they would take Jessie over me any day. That is voiced regularly. :) I digress. One evening when the family plus Ryan were all gathered together, a discussion evolved. In the middle of the discussion, something Ryan said, which cannot at this time be remembered, evoked a reaction out of one member of the group. That reaction was, "Ryan, you don't have a say! You aren't part of this family." Who said it and why doesn't really matter, but It was said. Truth be told, I um...'cough'...can't remember who it even was. That phrase was jokingly, and lovingly I might add, brought up from time to time over the course of Tawni and Ryan's courtship, but those days are coming to an end. Ryan, we love ya Buddy, and I can't wait until you have a full share in the sayings of what goes on in the family. You are already an integral part of this family and always will be. I look forward to having you as a brother-in-law. Tawni sure loves you, and you had better take good care of her, which I know you will. Congratulations to you both!

We're super sad we're missing yet another Griffitts wedding. Enough already! :) Have a great time and tell them congratulations from us.

Well, I do have to admit that I'm bummed that everything cool has to happen at the same time: Spring Break, Tawni's wedding and my trip to Philly and St. Louis. I know you guys all will have a blast without us, but when you report to us about it all, just pretend that you missed us! We WILL miss being there!
