Just Another Quick Update

To begin, sorry, there are no new pictures. The batteries to our camera died, so we are kind of slacking on the picture taking. Ok, I know everyone would rather hear from Jessie, but seeing as how our roles have reversed this term, I feel it is probably better that I take care of the blogging for a little bit of time. Jessie is extremely busy this Spring term. She is taking two classes right now, one of which is her Capstone class for her major. She needs to write a 20-page paper by the end of the term, which is already only a month away! Poor thing. That's definitely why I decided to do Engineering. She's also taking a marriage and family religion class. She is one of only two married students in the class, and the only pregnant one. She says she feels a bit out of place, especially when they talk about the dos and don'ts of dating before marriage. haha. She has classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. She is also working about thirty hours a week. Bless her heart, I love her so much for all she is doing. She's amazing. Then there are the bi-weekly doctors visits, which are going great by the way. Little Aiden is growing fast and moving a ton. His new favorite place to wedge his foot into is under Jessie's right ribs. We also found out yesterday that if we scratch lightly over Jessie's bellybutton that Aiden either sticks a foot or a hand up against her stomach. It's a lot of fun. We spent 15 minutes last night just scratching her belly, having Aiden reach up to the stomach and doing it all over again. Needless to say, we are really excited to have him with us soon.

As for me, I'm taking three labs: Chemistry, Physics, and Molecular Biology. They are all pretty simple and straight forward. I only have school Tuesday and Thursday, and my job switched to weekends, so I don't have to be at school Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. So, I have been spending more time finally getting on my bike and riding as well as getting ready for Medical School applications. I took the MCAT almost two weeks ago and am now just waiting for the results.

We will be done with school about June 17 or so, and the plan is to head back up to CDA either the 18th or 19th. We are still trying to work out the specifics though, and there is still a chance that things might change a little. Really kind of depends on when the baby decides to come. Anyway, we are loving life down here in Provo for the last few weeks that we will be here. I can't believe that it's already time for us to say goodbye to BYU. It has been an incredible 4 years down here and I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. Jessie feels the same way. We love you all. GO COUGS!

Thanks for the update Brad. It is so much fun to play with the baby at this stage, but even more fun when they are actually here. You are going to be great parents. I hope that everything works out and that you survive the rest of the semester. We are so excited to see you guys soon.

The rest of the family is excited to see you guys, too. Lindsay and Ava are going to be staying the summer with us while Riley finished his internship - the hotel is getting WAY small! See you soon!
