To the Zoo

For Labor Day weekend we went to the zoo and the kids loved it and miraculously we didn't get rained on although by the end I think we wouldn't have minded some to cool us off. It was REALLY humid, but we had a great time! I think my favorite thing was seeing the bonobo monkeys because there was a little baby one and he was shy at first and kept just peeking his head out and then we waved at him and he waved back! It was so cute. We also got to see some cougars really close up which was fun. He was right next to the glass and Aiden not realizing their was glass was walking up to him really hesitantly and was scared thinking that there was nothing between him and the cougar. The people standing next to us noticed and were giggling about his  seeing how scared he was to get close to the glass. Once we showed him the glass he went right up but it was pretty funny. Ryder kept wanting to try to go under the fence on the bridge to go see the ducks in the water :)
