It has been a while (like Christmas time) since I last posted! I guess we have just been busy. I am so glad that winter is almost over...it always seems really long when you have little kids in the house that can't go outside all the time. So let's see what has happened since Christmas...
Brad survived his surgery rotation (and I guess I survived too :)) He was a little burnt out at the end, but is still thinking of doing orthopedic surgery for his career. We have been debating between orthopedic surgery or anesthesia, but surgery is what Brad really wants to be doing the only issue is surviving residency and making sure we have the family life we want once he is practicing. So there is still a lot of prayer and thinking going on trying to decide for sure what we want to do.
Aiden started primary and has had some anxiety making the change from nursery, but this last Sunday he finally at least was willing to go near the primary room and let me sit with him and he went to the second half of class time all by himself so that was a major step up! And Ryder is doing great in nursery! He usually falls asleep in the arms of one of his teachers by the end :) They are both getting so big I can't believe it. Aiden has been doing addition and subtraction lately and is going to start soccer in April. And Ryder has been saying all kinds of phrases lately like "Come on boys!" , "Wher'd it go?", "What'r those?", and "Watch this" (when he picks a movie out). And they both love to race each other around the house all the time!
We can't wait to enjoy this warm weather by hopefully getting a camping trip or two in and getting to celebrate Easter in a few weeks with Gigi and Poppi !
Here are some pictures from the last while.
