Aiden Update

So things are going well up here in North Idaho. The weather is great (can't say that about last week's weather) and we're all happy. Aiden is growing really fast. He will be 7 weeks on Thursday. He's already over 10 lbs...of course when he's eating non-stop, 10 lbs is a bit lighter than we'd expect. Poor Jessie rarely gets a break. All the eating is causing him to already start outgrowing a lot of his newborn clothes. And he has lots of little baby fat rolls showing up on his legs. Jessie is really excited about that one. She has a certain love for baby rolls.

Just a week or so ago he started smiling, too. We keep trying to get it on camera, but somehow he always knows when we're trying to get a picture...well that and my timing on taking the picture isn't so spot on. So, just trust us on the smiling thing. One of these days we'll have proof.

Three weeks ago we had the opportunity of having a lot of Jessie's family up here to visit for Jessie's birthday and for Aiden's blessing. We had a lot of fun and were able to show them around Coeur d'Alene a little bit. It was a blessing to have them up here with us and to share some time with them. We are so blessed to have them in our lives.

Aiden absolutely loves his baths. Once he was able to take real baths, that is...he hated his sponge baths (sorry Chris and Tiff). One of our attempts to get a smile on camera when he was in the bath led to a lot of crying. The video says it all. His first reaction is what cracks us up. The crying is a very typical Aiden cry. Mom and Dad claim you can keep time by it.

Jeez Brad! Make your baby cry! Lol At least your little guy doesn't have the high pitched scream that when people call they think its my daughter in the background. He is so cute! I can't wait to meet him! -Kelsee

I can't believe that he has actually gotten cuter. We miss you guys a lot and Atlas still prays for all of you and baby Aiden too.

That boy has a set of lungs! Knowing you, Brad, I can just imagine the vein in your forehead popping out after a few minutes of that. He's a cute little guy.
